1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using IEP Co-Pilot, you agree to these Terms.

2. The service

IEP Co-Pilot is an AI-assisted drafting tool for special education teachers and IEP teams. It generates draft language to be reviewed and finalized by a qualified educator. It is not legal advice and does not replace professional judgment.

3. Your account

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of content you create in IEP Co-Pilot. You grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the service. We do not sell your content and do not use it to train third-party foundation models.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not upload sensitive student PII you are not authorized to share.
• Do not attempt to disrupt the service or reverse-engineer it.
• Do not use the service for unlawful purposes.

6. Plans, billing, refunds

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals. Within 14 days of your first paid charge, contact us at support@brightstepsbehavior.com for a refund.

7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email and on this page.
